Advice & Solutions
Example of how we differ from Cargo Inspection Companies
You charter a vessel for an offshore STS operation. You are due to receive 20,000 MT of Gasoline from a much larger vessel. What standard advice will you get from the cargo inspectors regarding discharge plans, loading plans, accuracy of figures, potential disport issues?
Answer:
Inspectors provide a good but basic independent service. Superintendents will provide a more in depth view of the operation and provide substantially more feedback. We provide operational analysis, advice and solutions.
we will for example;
In other words we are pro-active and provide a much bigger picture of your operation so you are forewarned about potential issues.

Answer:
Inspectors provide a good but basic independent service. Superintendents will provide a more in depth view of the operation and provide substantially more feedback. We provide operational analysis, advice and solutions.
we will for example;
- Review both vessels cargo history to ascertain any potential over or understating issues with their figures, past or present.
- Review vessel total and individual cargo tank capacities
- Review min/max ullage readings - to detect the effect of sloshing on the vessel figures
- Review the load/discharge procedures looking for slack tank issues, bottom line issues, and anything that can effect cargo quantity and quality
- Advise if figures are likely to be accurate on discharge i.e. is there a greater likelihood that the operation will be outside +/-0.50 acceptability limits.
- We will review location of pumps, ullage points etc and determine if the vessel trims are conducive to over or understating the figures.
- etc etc etc
In other words we are pro-active and provide a much bigger picture of your operation so you are forewarned about potential issues.
